PIG ROAST I  a folio by Bradley Shelton

Our first pig roast on Signal Mountain, back in 2009, came to pass on a whim. This first year, it was not much more than an excuse for a fall party --- stave off winter for one more weekend.  In the years since, many more friends celebrate with us, we have more knowledge about the best pig breeds for roasting, and our pit looks almost professional.  It’s fun to look back and see where we were 4 years ago. Of course, the obvious things like, I had more hair and the kids were smaller, but the real joy of these images is that a primal, visceral, story is told of the process of preparing and sharing food with friends and family.
